Fashion: Cowgirl glam

Her "glitter obsession" began when she bought a pair of Jeffrey Campbell glitter heels online. Since then the co-owner of Cuba St gallery Manky Chops has been producing multi-media pop and pop surrealism glitter portraits. She's even begun decorating her own shoes with glitter.

"I few years ago I was obsessed with cowboy boots so I had a whole exhibition dedicated to leather and cowboy boots," Xoe says. "Now it's glitter portraits of Jimmy Hendrix and David Bowie."

"Each one is an original piece of artwork with the novelty of it being sewn on a T-shirt. I've always collected T-shirts so that was my choice of garment for my art. It was also quite common in the 70s to hand paint T-shirts so I'm revisiting that," Hall says.

Manky Chops, which also has a line of clothing, celebrates its third birthday this month.
